By taking the plastic casing of the tampon, something discarded and seen as disgusting, and covering it in colors rooted deep in tradition and in a ornate design I made this object more pleasing and approachable, something to be appreciated instead of avoided by appealing to aspects of the same society that taught us otherwise.
